Martha Graham Centenary @ The Soraya

The Soraya at CSUN is a beautiful theatre that will showcase Martha Graham Centenary. The Martha Graham Dance Company’s 3 year celebration began in Fall 2023 and will end 2025 - 2026 to mark its 100 years.

In 2023 - 24 there was American Legacies. In 2024 - 25 there is Dances of the Mind. In 2025 - 26 there is The Masterpiece.

Dances of the Mind will be performed next April. Janet Eilber who is the Artistic Director of MGDC will present works that the Company was not able to include in the 3 year celebration.

In line with the LA Seen festival’s tribute to L.A. performers and works, Panorama, Clytemnestra Suite, Lamentation Variations, Satyric Festival Song, Deep Song and Acts of Light will be performed by L.A. Dance Project, Lula Washington Dance Theatre and USC Glory Kaufman School of Dance.
