Pepperdine University’s has an incredible theatre with some of the World’s best talent.

Some of our favorites we attended were:

Classic Albums Live September 13th

This was a classic concert from start to finish breathtaking.

It featured the full album from Dreams: Fleetwood Mac in the first set with no talking in between songs.

The second set was filled with other classic Fleetwood Mac known songs and some story telling in between.

This along with other albums covered by Classic Albums are sacred and stand the test of time. The musicians and singers were extrodinary.

Preservation Hall Jazz Band September 28th

This is a classic New Orleans Jazz Band that is not to be missed! This group has been around 60 years as is so authentic to this style of Jazz. It taps into its Afro Cuban roots. With musicians like Fela Kuti and The Fire Music of Pharaoh Sand and John Coltrane to newer cutting edge artists that Preservation Hall has played with: Stevie Wonders, Elvis Costello, Beck, The Foo Fighters and more: this band has its own unique style.

Taiko Project October 5th

Taiko Project’s latest concert is inspired by the Japanese Goddess of wisdom, beauty and dance. It strives to break traditional boundaries and create new music and choreography. Both females and males are brought to stage in new lights to focus on feminine and masculine qualities. This is a Taiko ride from soft/delicate sounds to more pronounced drumming that will have people feel the rhythms in their bodies.

Pilobolus December 28th

This dance Company has a style that stands out in contemporary and modern dance. It works with the imagination that has no limits. The dancers will amaze you as there are choreographed moves that are unique and share a specific voice by this dance Company.

ABT March 13, 2025

ABT Studio Company is made up of rising stars aged 17 to 21 who come from all over the world. American Ballet Theatre is a leading ballet Company from New York. In this performance, ABT Studio Company dancers perform masterworks of the classical and neoclassical canons alongside contemporary works.
