Enchanting Holiday Tradition: Moorpark Ballet Company Presents The Nutcracker

The holiday season is in full swing, and with it comes one of the most cherished traditions in classical performing arts—The Nutcracker. This year, the Moorpark Ballet Company brings the timeless tale to life with a dazzling performance that promises to delight audiences of all ages.

A Magical Production

Set to the iconic score of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, The Nutcracker follows the enchanting journey of young Clara, whose Christmas Eve transforms into an adventure filled with toy soldiers, mischievous mice, and a magical Nutcracker prince.

The upcoming annual performance promises to be a spectacular event, featuring over 70 dancers and special guest appearances of the Prince and Sugar Plum Fairy.  The dance role of Clara will be performed by 13-year-old Charlie Hoppel, a student at Mesa Verde Middle School and dancer from Gotta Dance Academy.

This is a production that is enchanting and beautiful.

The Thousand Oaks Civic Center is an elegant location to see The Nutcracker.
